The centre of Information and Media (IMZ) is a central department of the Ulm University of Applied Sciences. It is assigned duties according to the higher education act (§ 28 LHG) and is directly subordinate to the rectorate / executive committee. The IMZ is a close collaboration between different departments of the university that are concerned with communication and information processing, and with providing literature and other media for the university. The IMZ is a merger between the former Rechenzentrum (computing services) and the library, including the new departments ‘Online Services’ and ‘Electronic Media’.
