The Institute of Design and CA-Technologies (ICT) provides the infrastructure for teaching construction and CAD. The students have access to current design technologies and have access to more than 70 workstations and 40 A0-drafting machines. At the ICT the students work on their design projects with CAD tools like Pro/ENGINEER, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, SolidEdge and IcemSurf, and the FEM tools HyperWorks and Abaqus, which is the range of 3D-design and calculation software currently used in industry.
