Learning objectives
Basic knowledge in signal processing and sensorics, experience in the use of sensors and signal processing techniques.

Content


Sampling and digitising (A/D- and D/A-Converters), digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, basic methods in signal processing (integration, differentiation, drift and offset compensation), Fourier-Transformation and FFT-algorithm, non-recursive and recursive digital filters, averaging, correlation measurements, transferfunction of sensors, sensors for mechanical, thermal, optical and chemical measurements
