Learning objectives By successful participation the following competences are acquired:
The confounding influence which covariates can have to an analysis is understood and mastered analytically (stratification).
The students can apply the most important procedures of multivariate analysis (regression, ANOVA) to real datasets, they can interpret and judge the output coming from SAS.
For all treated methods of inferential statistics the students experience the corresponding SAS-procedures in the laboratory.
