Corporate Planning (business game)





Learning objectives
The seminar participants will experience the network interactions in a company with the help of the business games TOPSIM, General Management II and BTI-FACTORY and the PC software GAMMA. True to the motto "Learning business by doing business" the seminar participants will acquire basic experience in commercially linked thinking and acting, and strategic, operative, value-oriented business management. The seminar will help them to develop and deepen their business knowledge. They will learn how to work in a team and how to develop social and management competence, since they have to take the responsibility for their decisions and results in their group as “the manager of their company”. A special training will help them to learn how to use information and make decisions under time pressure. Furthermore the participants will be trained in entrepreneurial behaviour, also from an ethnic point of view. This will help them to understand and assess their behaviour and its influence on the business success. The seminar participants will also acquire skills in: - Problem structuring and solution. - Recognising and formulating basic conditions for economic success, - Defining aims and strategies and implementing them in an economic and ecologic environment - Mastering complex decision situations even when they are uncertain The seminar participants will be able to make use of essential tools for successful business management, for themselves and others.
