Erasmus (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) is a programme for higher education that supports study periods abroad for both, students and teachers. The majority of incoming and outgoing students come or go to a partner university and study within the Erasmus framework and other international cooperation agreements.

Erasmus students usually do not need any special admission requirements beyond their recommendation or nomination by their home university or additional requirements set out in the relevant partnership agreement.
