The AStA (General Student Committee) office represents the student’s interests in university committees, in the senate, the departmental councils and student organisations. It closely co-operates with the USTA (Independent Student Committee).

The AStA also takes care of other areas of interest e.g. possibilities for the improvement of the teaching or the organisation of the semester bus ticket.

The AStA offers the following services: Student accommodation, BAföG–application forms, newspapers, international student ID, test folder – collection of written exams On sale: Copy cards, meal vouchers for the cafeteria Semesterticket (DING–Verbund)
