There is no practical experience or internship required for the Bachelor’s degree course Computer Engineering.

Foreign and stateless applicants will first have to request the "Merkblatt für ausländische Studienbewerber" (bulletin for foreign applicants) and the "Zulassungsantrag für die Feststellungsprüfung" (assessment exam application form) from the Ausländerstudienkolleg der Hochschule Konstanz, Brauneggerstr. 55 / Postfach 100543, 78462 Konstanz (Institute for International Students at the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz). You can only apply for the Bachelor’s degree course at the Ulm University, if you passed the German Language Test (DHS or TestDaF), and received the confirmation that you are eligible to apply for a degree at a university in Baden-Württemberg.

The application deadline is the 15^th January for the summer semester, and the 15^th July for the winter semester.

Even though there are admission restrictions, the so-called numerus clausus, you still have the chance to be admitted to the degree course with lower grades, depending on the time since you graduated from school. At the moment the chances to be admitted to the degree course are very high.
