Formal requirements for the acceptance to the course is one of the following school qualifications:

A preliminary laboratory course is not required.

A general interest in working with mathematical/scientific problems and some ability for verbal communication and abstract thinking is required. Applicants should have a strong desire to explore and discover the mysteries of modern communications systems and through the professional implementation of electronics software and the latest computer technology to be able to work in this field. In order to find out their own preferences, students with general school leaving certificates may find it helpful to take a preliminary practical course before the beginning of the actual course.
