Qualifikationsprofil

Graduates of the course in Vehicle Electronics will be able to understand problems in the field of vehicle technology including vehicle mechanics, and be able to solve these by applying modern knowledge and methods of the electronic and information technologies. Above all graduates will be capable not only of applying the latest technology in electronics and software, but also of actively developing them, taking into account customer needs, safety, cost and environmental sustainability.

Graduates will have the following skills upon completing the course:



Good knowledge of mathematics and science.


Good basic knowledge of sensor technology, electronics, microcomputer technology, control theory, communication theory and programming.


Basic knowledge of the mechanics of the most important vehicle components and their characteristic parameters.


Detailed system knowledge of the operating chain of sensors – data transfer - processing – actuators.


Experience in the use of the appropriate development tools, which are now indispensable for the modelling and simulation of vehicle sub-systems.

Like the other courses with a large electronics and IT component, this course also develops the student’s investigation, project management, report writing and presentation skills. It will also help him acquire a basic knowledge of English. In addition, a basic standard in teamwork, perseverance and the ability to work under stress will also be achieved.
