Building a New Bridge to the USA

The Master Degree Course ‘Systems Engineering & Management’ with focus on Electrical Engineering has become international. This has been accomplished through a co-operation degree programme with the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (RHIT), which Ulm University of Applied Sciences has been connected with since 2001. Overall there are ten study places available, five at each university. The first semester will be taught in Ulm, the second semester at the RHIT in Terre Haute, Indiana. The students can graduate with a Master of Engineering from both universities. The new degree course is supported through the BMBF, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD. The first students will be taught in March 2012.

Recently Rector Professor Dr. Achim Bubenzer paid the RHIT a visit where he and President Matt Branam (on the left) signed the co-operation contracts.
